Sardar Patel Institute of Technology is one of the most active institutes in the Mumbai University in terms of publications and R&D activities. As an extension of our interest in being a centre for continuous learning and research we organized a “National Conference on Biomedical Engineering” in March 2006 and an international colloquium in collaboration with IEEE-R10 on recent trends and advances in Information, Software and Communication Technologies in February 2008. Both the conferences attracted high-quality research work by academicians and practitioners with a shared interest in tools, techniques and technology and were well-received by the participants.
In continuation of our efforts to engage ourselves in a continuous dialogue with future trends in technologies so that we as an institute can surpass our own stature at two levels: to bridge the ever-present gap between the classroom and the industry and to establish our institute as a centre of excellence by familiarizing ourselves with contemporary trends.
The college has organized two International Conference on Communication, Information and Computing Technology since 2012.
