 We thank you for expressing your interest in our institute. This email contains important information regarding the admission application process to First Year B.Tech. for AY 2026-27:

1. Institute Level and After CAP Option Form

For the academic year 2026-27, the total Institute Level quota seats available at S.P.I.T. are:

Additionally, After CAP vacancies will also be added as per available vacancies.

As per the admission policy of the state, 80% of the seats of the institution are filled by CAP rounds (85% of this 80% are filled through CET merit, and 15% through JEE score) and the remaining 20% seats at the Institute Level (using CET merit). Similarly, seats remaining vacant after the declared rounds of CAP are also filled at institute level using CET merit.

This year, the State CET Cell has facilitated aspirant students to apply for 20% Institute Level seats (management quota) directly on the State CET Cell portal. The State CET Cell option form for the same is now available on the State CET Cell portal. Therefore, all stakeholders, parents, and students, are hereby informed that all students interested in Institute Level admissions at S.P.I.T. must fill the State CET Cell Institute Level option form separately as per the State CET Cell schedule on the State CET Cell portal as a part of the application process for the Institute Level Vacancies and Vacancies After CAP.

Vacancies, if any, of all rounds conducted by State CET Cell will be filled on merit from the pool of candidates given to us by State CET Cell.

The detailed schedule for the admission process for Institute Level seats and After CAP vacancies will be available on our website shortly. The admission process will be conducted on premises at our institute.
